Lit-Library Program

How can our stakeholders build wealth and feel empowered by reading books? 

We believe part of the wealth creation is ownership and having access to books that are culturally responsive at home and books that are connected to the interest of our children. We want books to be an affirmation of self-love, discovery and allow children the opportunity to explore. We want to serve as a guide to collaborate with our children and give them access to books.  We want children to have the opportunity of ownership and to feel that their homes are a place where books are part of their ecosystems. We want our children to build their home collection of books of topics they are interested in and books that are culturally responsive to creating wealth within their communities. The benefit of having books at home empowers children to become avid readers. Children having access to books at home creates an opportunity for families to be part of the process of reading together.

By providing books or donating to ProjecTAMA, you will have a lasting impact on families by creating wealth for our children, families, and communities. 

We are dedicated to providing high-quality, diverse, educational, and entertaining, and culturally responsive books to our stakeholders. We can only accept new books and books that are culturally responsive to our children. We cannot accept books that are disconnecting and not culturally aligned to our children or that have explicit language or content.
